Popular R&B singer Darey adds another year today. His wife of more than 8 years Deola shares a sweet birthday message to him on Instagram.

Nigerian singer Dare Art Alade is a year older today February 9, 2015.

Darey was born into the family of veteran legendary Nigerian jazz musician Art Alade and Olapeju Alade. He shot to fame during the 2004 edition of Project Fame Academy and emerged third place.

The R&B/soul singer released his album 'From me to you' with hit songs such as Fuji, Escalade. His song, 'Original Naija' was used as the theme song for the first edition of Big Brother Nigeria.

Darey who has three albums is remembered for bringing Kim Kardashian to Nigeria in 2013, and Kelly Rowland in 2014 to host his Valentines day show, Love Like a Movie. The Nigerian Idol judge is also an ambassador for Lipton Tea.

Darey's wife, Deola took to Instagram to celebrate her husband as he turned a year older "To d best husband n father ever @dareydarey. Your soul is soo pure, your heart is priceless, n your wisdom is undeniably astounding. May u always fly high in life n touch all ur dreams. Happy birthday babe. Luv u with my soul."

Darey and his wife of 7 years have two kids together.
