A jealous boyfriend left his girlfriend disfigured after biting her during a kiss.Rhys Culley had asked Chanttelle Ward,18 if she loved him before he sank his teeth into her face during the horrific attack.
The 23-year-old was jealous and insecure about what she would do while he was working away. She told jurors during the trial Culley had tried to kiss her and asked her if she still loved him before the bite.
She said:
'He put his whole mouth around my lips and pulled, I thought that my whole lip had come off. There was blood everywhere.'
They had been celebrating Miss Ward's mother's birthday and at about 10.30pm Miss Ward, and her aunt Susan Stewart shared a taxi home, dropping her aunt off first.
When they got back to her house,he brought up a conversation that his girlfriend had had with another man on Facebook earlier in the month. He then took her phone off her in a bid to look through her Facebook messages. When he found that the messages were no longer there he became angry and started to shout at her, accusing her of having something to hide.

At this point, she told the court, she realised that something was wrong and that this wasn't a 'normal' argument for the pair, who had been together for almost two and a half years.
She became scared and lifted her phone to call the defendant's mother to ask her to come and get him.
But Culley is said to have taken the phone from his victim, he also locked the doors so that she couldn't escape.

Later, when her phone was left unattended she made an emergency call but Culley again took the phone from her.
After Culley had bitten her, he 'rubbed his face in hers, smearing the blood across her face and then he stuck his tongue into her mouth'.When the police arrived they saw that they both had blood on them and over their faces.'
Culley was arrested and Miss Ward was taken to hospital to have her injuries examined. She suffered not only the injuries to her mouth, but bruising to her arms and body, a scratch to her left breast and bruising of the face and ear.
During his evidence Culley said he did not mean to harm his 'beautiful' girlfriend, who he knew he was lucky to have.He was found guilty after a trial.
He will be sentenced next month and has now been remanded in custody

She was said to be dating footballer Mikel Obi before but she didn't get want she wanted from the affair, hence she moved on. What many did not know was that ex-beauty queen and model, Sandra Okagbue, has been doing things secretly with musician Flavour. Well, the result has come out. lol!
Sources confirmed she is already heavily pregnant and has relocated to the US where she is expected to give birth between September and October. Sadly, Flavours is said not be interested in marriage:
"The last thing on Flavour's mind right now is marriage. She said he's responsible for the pregnancy and Flavour has accepted it but as for marriage, don't hold your breath," one of the musician's close pal was quoted as saying.

boko Haram militants invaded Borno State's second largest city, Bama, this morning and it looks like they managed to overpower the Nigerian troops who engaged them in a fierce gun battle today. According to Sahara Reporters, Boko Haram men have taken over Bama and have now hoisted their flag within the city. Bama is just one hour from the state capital, Maiduguri. Continue...
SR reports that several soldiers were killed during the gun battle, many of them are missing, while over 100 soldiers who sustained serious injuries are currently being treated at the MRS hospital in Maimalari Barracks.

An intelligence source told Sahara that only a few soldiers, in four armored tanks, were seen near Yezaram River and that the unit was in no way capable of re-taking Bama from the militants.

Meanwhile a source told me that there's been a curfew in Maiduguri, that it is likely air strikes will be deployed at Bama and civilians may be requested to leave the town of Bama.

Nigerian preacher, Helen Ukpabio, has sued two UK human rights groups - The British Humanist Association (BHA) and Witchcraft and Human Rights Information Network (WHRIN) for £500 million (N130 billion) due to their criticism of her teachings.

Mrs Ukpabio claims to have expertise in identifying children and adults who are possessed with witchcraft spirits and in how they can be ‘delivered’ from those spirits. She had given features of “possessed children” only for the BHA to call for Ukpabio and others like her to be banned from
coming to the UK on the grounds that they are a threat to child welfare and their practices are not conducive to the public good.’

Ukpabio claims that the BHA misrepresented her by saying that she ascribed these symptoms to Satanic possession and hence has damaged her reputation and livelihood to the sum of half a billion pounds. Her lawyers have also informed the BHA and WHRIN that she is launching a legal case against them.

Reacting to the suit, Andrew Copson, Chief Executive of the British Humanist Association, had this to say:
‘Given her baseless identification of and her dangerous and irresponsible teachings we feel a strong moral duty to point this out and will not be deflected by libel suits from wealthy “witch-finders”.
The fact that she is threatening to launch a legal claim for half a billion pounds over an alleged distinction between being accused of exorcising “Satan” or “Vampires” tells you all you need to know about Mrs Ukpabio. Threats of legal action like this are blatant attempts to silence critics of the harms done by these religious and superstitious beliefs and rituals.
Rather than entertaining her vexatious claims in the courts, we believe the UK should be ensuring that Mrs Ukpabio and her ilk are denied entry to our country to protect children from their degrading practices.’
Gary Foxcroft, Executive Director of WHRIN, also commented. He said:
‘This court case is the latest in a long line of unsuccessful legal actions that Helen Ukpabio has pursued against me and other human rights activists. Previous cases were thrown out of court in Nigeria but this time she is looking to take action in a UK court. I have no doubt that a judge in the UK will reach the same conclusion as those in Nigeria.
Of course, the real question here is whether our Government should allow hate preachers such as Helen Ukpabio to enter the UK. Since her teachings have been scrutinised by the UN and various other bodies it would appear that this may not be in the public interest. This case also therefore provides the Home Secretary and the National Working Group to Tackle Child Abuse linked to Faith and Belief with a great opportunity to condemn the practices of such pastors, take concrete action and ensure that justice is

A mother has beaten odds of a million-to-one by giving birth to a baby who appears to be of a different race.Catherine Howarth, 32, from Milton Keynes, is Nigerian by heritage, and so was, at first, a little taken aback when she saw her son Jonah for the first time.
With his pale skin, green eyes and light brown hair, Jonah, now three months old, looks like any other new-born baby - but, when seen in his mother's arms, his uniqueness is obvious.
Recalling the moment she delivered Jonah in Milton Keynes Hospital on June 1, his mother told the Sunday Mirror:
‘The midwife looked at me and looked back down at Jonah and then at me again and couldn’t believe it.'Some children get darker after a few weeks when the skin colour they will have for life starts to become obvious. But you can see from the colour at the tips of their ears what that Jonah was fully white. We have been told I must have been carrying a recessive gene. My parents were from Nigeria and, for as far back as anyone can remember; my family have all been black.’
Husband Richard, 34, who works as a medical recruitment consultant, was equally as shocked when he first saw his son, who is the couple’s first child together.
The colour of Jonah’s skin is of no concern - Jonah being a healthy and happy baby is what matters.’
The couple have been told that they are unlikely to have another white baby if they have further children, due to the extremely rare combination of genes needed.

The phenomenon is not totally unheard of however,in 2010, parents Benjaman and Angela Ihegboro – both black - introduced their white-skinned, blonde-haired daughter Nmachi to the world...Below
